Like many of you..I am a Woman, A Mother, A Wife, A Friend, a Co-Worker and I have given so much of myself where I decided to reclaim my Mind....Body....and Spirit with some Fly As* Healthy Hair along the way!
I've been a licensed Cosmetologist for 21 Years and yes I can do some hair! Lol!! The reason I say this because some people think when you're passionate about haircare you can't do hair! In some instances I guess that can be true but not in my case! I fell in love with doing hair at 12 years old! It was an creative outlet growing up in a concrete jungle! Coming from a female dominated family, I always had someone to perfect my craft on! Believe me..there were scissors slip, burns and jacked up cuts along the way! There wasn't any social media or Youtube to reference to. If you messed up..you took your lickings and learned from your mistakes.
Do military Women like to keep their hair done? Well...hell yeah! I carried my skills abroad when I was stationed overseas! It's difficulty for many servicewomen to keep their hair healthy due to the elements, uniform regulations and access to trained professionals when deployed. I was a licensed Cosmetologist, active duty in the Navy and I specialized in short hair...so yes that was a rarity!
